Fullscreen mode doesn't work under Linux. Sun plans to add it to it's next release of 5.x, but no promise have been made. If you have problems under Windows, it's possible you don't have sufficient access rights to change the display mode.

Press Alt+Enter to toggle between fullscreen and windowed mode. If you want the emulator to open up in fullscreen mode, use the -f commandline switch (check this section of the FAQ if you're not sure how to do that).

The context menu and most of the keyboard shortcuts do not work in Direct3D mode. The only way to exit Direct3D fullscreen is to press Ctrl+C. This will also stop playback. Media Player Classic does not properly support these file types. Use Windows Media Player for these files.

Max Fighter always starts in the same mode that was active when you left the game last time. Switching to fullscreen mode and not switching back should make it start that way again next time.

This is the typical ?square? image favoured (until very recently) by television presentations. This aspect ratio is expressed as FS 4:3 or (1.33:1 in decimal terms) denoting that the frame is 1.33 times as wide as it is tall. This is a known problem. Some JVM react badly to been switch from/to fullscreen mode. We have had problems with both Sun's and Apple's Java 1.4.2. However, Java 5.0 seems to be perfectly stable. My suggestions are: Pick a graphic mode and stick with it. If you want your game to work in 800x600 fullscreen mode, switch to that mode and don't switch back until program termination.

One application seems to run OK but when I try to run more at the same time I get repeated errors similar to this one: "tvSyncClient :: checkSync(): Error receiving sync from master: Success "

Whilst in fullscreen mode, moving the mouse cursor to the bottom of the screen will display the video controls. If the video controls still do not appear, simply press the Escape key and then return to fullscreen mode.

In Mac OS X, all windows are double-buffered. The application (in this case, SDL's blitting engine) draws into the back buffer. The front buffer is that actual display video memory. When the application is finished drawing, it tells the window server to display the back buffer on the screen.

OAUG eNews is a low-volume announce-only newsletter mailing list. Unlike the user-to-user forum lists (OAUG Net and OAUG Net DBA), only list administrators can post to OAUG eNews. Since the only traffic from the eNews list will consist of the twice-monthly OAUG eNews newsletter and occasional, infrequent administrative messages (when necessary), all subscriptions to OAUG eNews must be in feed mode.

The most common reason users run into problems managing subscriptions is that they are subscribed to the list with a different e-mail address than the one they are trying to change subscription status for. The listserver identifies users by e-mail address, and to it, each unique e-mail address is a separate, unique user.

To change from test mode to real mode, you need only enter the options dialog, click the tab "Misc", uncheck the item "Use Test Mode When Writing to CD".

Be sure to stop BOINC running on your system, then install the new core client and client GUI in the same directory where you had your old BOINC installation running.. Firstly check if your firewall is blocking connection to 127.0.0.1. If the firewall is not blocked, or is turned off, then try leaving the meeting and entering again. If this does not help, send us the koala.log file located in ~/.Koala directory to evosupport@vrvs.org.

On WIN 98 the problem happens when the driver can't initialize video in Overlay mode with the current installed VGA card. Not all the current VGA cards will support Overlay mode with the Video Jet card, most of the problems can be solved by additional settings. This VGA card compatibility problem should be tested with the VIDCAP program provided in the driver disk.

In regular hunting safety, you should never walk with the safety off. We have incorporated the same feature into this game.
