You can access your UW e-mail directly through WyoWeb by clicking on the e-mail icon at the top of the portal window. This will take you directly to your UW Exchange e-mail account through Outlook Web Access without having to re-enter your username and password. Through single sign-on technology, WyoWeb takes you directly to your e-mail account.

You can bring your laptop computer, you will have to contact one of local ISP's who will provide you with temporary Internet access for your limited stay. If you are staying in a hotel, make sure your modem will bypass their PBX phone system. If they have a data port on their phones you should have no problem, set your modem to dial whatever number you normally dial for an outside line, then your ISP's access number. Yes, you can access your new Horizon account from other e-mail programs. To select this option, go to "Settings" on the menu (located in the upper right corner) inside the new Horizon e-mail system. The alumni online community provides a method to allow e-mail to be forwarded to your own personal e-mail address which is hosted through your own e-mail service provider, your place of employment, etc. The Boston College alumni site does not have individual mailboxes or e-mail service other than e-mail forwarding available for alumni use.
