Refurbished as new products are sourced from customer returns and have been factory refurbished to the fully functional specification. However, the only software provided (if any) is the operating system. Other software products included with new products are not included with refurbished as new items. The auction will clearly state if the operating system is included. All refurbished as new products are packaged in professional high quality bespoke boxes (see actual pictures on the auction).

Most of the parts I ship out as replacements are technically "remanufactured". What this means is that I am recycling the chassis that people have sent me back, by stripping them down to the metal parts, and then building them back up with all new parts. A percentage of the units I supply are built on new chassis, to make up for the ones I never get back and the ones that are unusable.

Refurbished products do not always come with or have the same accessories that a new unit has, i.e. storage case, cleaning brush, hair combs, oil, ect. We try to list everything that comes with the unit in the product description however items included can vary from shipment to shipment. Refurbished products may have scratches or other minor cosmetic defects but are functionally like new and dependable.

Laptop batteries are just like those for our portable CD players, radios and handheld video games. If they go bad, we buy new ones. The laptop battery will be replaced free by the manufacturer only during your freshman year.
