It's been reliably reported that Exchange 2000's POP3 support is so broken that it's unusable. One symptom is that messages without a terminating newline get the POP3 message termination dot emitted -- you guessed it -- right after the last character of the message, with no terminating newline added. This will hang fetchmail or any other RFC-compliant server. IMAP is alleged to work OK, though. Older versions of Exchange are semi-usable. They randomly drop atttachments on the floor, though.

To import Excel data in Sigview, save it as "Tab delimited (*.txt)" file from Excel. You should remove all unnecessary headers or additional text from the sheet before you do that. You can import such files in Sigview by using File/ASCII/Import... menu option. Backup Professional Microsoft Exchange Module is now available and can properly backup Microsoft Exchange Server. This can be done with a minimum of down time to the Exchange Server (5-10 minutes on most systems). This is done by creating a custom backup profile.
