A Single has one thick wire, a Double is a two thinner wires, a Triple has three thinner wires than the Double, a Quad has four thinner wires, and so on. So, an 8 Double will have TWO (Double) thin wires wrapped around the pole 8 times. A 12 Triple will have THREE (Triple) wires wrapped around the pole 12 times, and the 10 Single will have ONE (Single) thick wire wrapped around the pole 10 times.

A Single provides harder acceleration (torque), while a Quad will provide a much smoother power band. The 8, 12, 10, 14, or 16 turn motors will provide a lot more rpm than a stock 27 turn (less wire means less weight), but, obviously, the 8 will have the best rpm (typically).

The vast majority of students here are assigned to standard double rooms. We do, however, have a handful of rooms that are over-sized and designed to accommodate three students. The fee for these rooms is slightly less. These rooms are not double rooms that have been converted to triples to accommodate overcrowded conditions. Single rooms are scarce on the Midtown campus and in several of our Westside buildings.

A double has one large bed (usually a queen size), big enough for two or for one person who likes a lot of room. Thus, when mentioned in the price info, "Double Room Single Occupancy" it implies a normal double room (with a large bed), but only authorised to accomodate one person. Triple and quadruple rooms accommodate three and four people respectively.

These terms refer to the occupancy of the rooms. Double = 2 adults per room, triple = 3 and quad = 4 adults per room. (adults = 17 years or older) All our rates are based minimum 2 adult occupancy. A double Hotel room, or Double Studio, is for 2 persons. The Triple for 3 persons and the Quadruple for 4. The apartments are based on the number on Bedrooms and each bedroom can sleep up to 2 persons.

The number of turns of a motor is the number of times the wires in the motor are wound around the armature. 'Single', 'double', 'triple' and 'quad' refer to the number of strands of wires being wound onto the armatures. Single refers to one wire, double refers to two and so on… Hence, a 16 turn double (16x2) breaks down to 2 wires being wound around the armature 16 times. The lower number of turns generally results in higher RPMs, amp draw and heat, as well as lower runtimes.

Single-wide mobile homes: Up to approximately 700 square feet of living area and between 46 ? 56 feet long in length and between 10 12 feet in width. Double-wide mobile homes: Between approximately 1,150 ? 1,800 square feet of living area and between 24 ? 32 feet in width and between 48 ? 56 feet in length.

A Twin room type is meant for two adults in a room with either two single beds, a queen-size bed or a king-size bed. A Triple room type is for a maximum of three adults in a room. The bed configuration could be two singles with a rollaway, a queen-size bed with a rollaway or a king-size bed with a rollaway. Normally, you can make a special request for queen-size or king-size beds, depending on availability.
