All students applying for the TechLEAP/ WebLEAP program with the internship option must take the Aptitude test. If you are not looking for an internship from the TechLEAP program, you would not need to take the aptitude test. However, we encourage people to take the aptitude test because it gives both prospective students, enrolled students, and the Program Director a baseline from which to advise students on their career options, and to make class schedule and career decisions.

The only time you would retake the NJATC/AIR Aptitude test is if you do not at first qualify for the oral interview by achieving a score of five (5) or above on a stanine scale.
