To assist you with requesting items from our collection, we've prepared a set of Voyager Online Instructions which provide step-by-step directions on how to access Voyager and do a search. Daytona Beach students can read the Voyager Online Instructions here. After completing a Voyager search, Daytona Beach students can come to the library to locate the materials they identified in Voyager. Worldwide students can request certain materials be sent to them.

Most books, book on cassettes or CD, and educational videos and DVDs circulate for three weeks. However, magazines, circulate for one week. Feature films and DVDs circulate for 3 days. Loan periods for materials borrowed for you from other library systems vary depending on their loan policy. More information can be obtained in the Loan Period and Limits section.

Return your materials as soon as possible. There is a book drop available outside Meadows Library and Ayers Campus Library as well as a drop slot in the door of the Anniston Center Library if you arrive after hours. Materials should be returned to the library you borrowed them from. Your materials will be checked in the next day. You will be charged a fine for each day each item is late. Books are $.10 a day, and video tapes are $.50 a day.

NO. Cutting or removing anything from any library materials--such as books, magazines, journals, and newspapers--is not allowed. However, the library does keep some donated magazines for this purpose; donated magazines available for cutting are kept in the Periodicals staff area and are available between 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. We, as Maharashtrians living abroad, feel deprived of simple pleasures like reading Marathi books and magazines and enjoying Marathi movies/dramas. We conducted a survey in September - October 2001 on our website and asked fellow Maharastrians if they felt the same ? our survey was titled " In Search of Marathi Entertainment Mediums".

Requests can be made at any of the Information desks of the libraries. You can also make requests through our subscription to the Books In Print Database linked from our databases. Once you have searched for a title in Books In Print click on the "Request this title", fill out the form and click "Submit".

Service is provided directly by a regional or subregional library of the NLS network. A list of libraries is available. Some public libraries do have small collections of NLS-produced talking books for eligible users. Check with the regional library in your state to determine if there is a talking-book collection at a public library near you.

Finding fiction books in the library for simple recreational reading isn't as easy as just walking to a shelf and looking for a specific "section". However there are many ways someone can go about using the various tools the library has to offer to find a fiction book that interests them. You can renew your checked out materials online. Open the online library catalog. Click on Personal Record. In the UW-W ID Barcode window, enter the 7-digit middle section of your UW-W ID number. Enter your last name. Click the Login button. The system will display a list of titles you have checked out. Check the Renew? box for the title(s) you want to renew.
