There is no central scheduling office for bands. To request a performance by a U.S. Army band, find a band near you and contact that band directly.

There have been thousands of U.S. Army bands over the years but we have very little documentation in our offices. The bands listed on U.S. Army Bands Online are the bands currently activated. Some band websites list personnel and some have alumni pages. To find more information, we recommend the U.S. Army FAQ.

Once you have registered for the festival, you will receive a Festival Packet that contains a form for requesting an approximate performance time. Many factors are considered at the time assignments are made, such as travel distance, size and number of groups from each school and time of registration. We will do our best to accommodate your request, however please keep in mind that these are just requests.

Bands/performers may drink during their performance if legally of age. However, they should not be consuming so much alcohol that it impairs their ability to the slightest degree. If that is the case, they are breaching the contract. **NOTE: Recognized student groups cannot be reimbursed for the purchase of alcohol even if the purchaser is of legal age.

The order of appearance will be established by management according to technical/organizational needs, and will be communicated in writing to the participating bands. In the event of special needs, a preference for a date on which to perform can be indicated on registration. The organization will draw up a calendar that takes into account everyone's needs. However, there is no guarantee that all requests will be granted. The calendar drawn up by the organization is binding.

Hand held bombs were called grenades. They were not on issue to every soldier until later in WW1. The soldiers who trained to use them were called 'grenadiers' until the Grenadier Guards complained that that usage would reflect badly on them and their name. So King George V "requested" a change and the grenades became 'bombs' and the soldiers that used them were referred to as 'bombers'.

Since a majority of our performances are private functions, your best bet is to call us about our upcoming schedule. Usually it is OK to come out to a wedding and listen to/view the band. You must be appropriately attired in dress clothes. Each function and facility has its own guidelines for viewers, including some that do not allow any viewers. Please also refer to our band rehearsals.

Names can be tricky. Different countries have different rules and laws about names, and those rules apply differently. Sometimes a person has registered their name with a government office. Sometimes a person has retained legal counsel and vigorously defends the use of their name and their identity. Many others "just got there first." TuneCore is not part of these issues.

The Band is tightened by accessing the port with a needle. This is most commonly done in the office. Some surgeons do it at the hospital under x-ray guidance, but this is generally not necessary, and makes the procedure much more expensive. For patients with very thick abdominal walls, it may be more difficult to find the port. In our office we have an ultrasound machine which makes it possible to access most ports without need for x-ray.
