Unfortunately not. We are on the second floor of a building that only has stair access, so students who must use wheelchairs will not be able to get to the school. Yes, we do! Depending on the requests of students, we offer a variety of excursions, including an overnight stay on a farm, a day trip tour of Nagasaki, a weekend trip to the world's biggest caldera. We also run barbecues, visits to local festivals, and more, depending on the season.

Yes, the studios allow one person to be seated with a disabled guest on the floor but space is strictly limited. Most soundstages can only accommodate one or two wheelchairs or guests that cannot negotiate stairs on the studio floor due to space constraints and safety concerns. Navy Pier is handicapped accessible, and complimentary wheelchair rental is available at the Information Desk, located at the front of the Pier. A photo id must be left when renting a wheelchair.

The School of the Arts has two theatres - The Ensemble Theatre and The Mainstage Theatre. Both theatres meet all the codes of the Americans with Disabilities Act, and are fully accessible to patrons in wheelchairs (and strollers!).

Yes. The buses have a passenger lift at the rear of the vehicle. All the buses have webbing and restraints to make sure your wheelchair is secure and ensure your safety whilst travelling. It is recommended that you advise the travel centre that you are a wheelchair user, just in case another wheelchair user has booked at the same time as you. All the buses have space for one wheelchair user but more can be accommodated if the travel centre is advised.

On the lower level, there are two rooms that are accessible for a person in a wheelchair. However, we do not have an elevator in the school to reach the main floor or the second floor.

ECVs (electric wheelchairs) will move about fine inside and most of outside CS... the only possible glitch being the narrow sidewalk and the suspension bridge as you approach the Dig Site from the Casita/Cabana side. There *is* handicapped access into the pool, wheelchair sign and everything.

We want everyone to enjoy a horrifying Halloween! Even though this is all in fun, the fear response is stressful and can elevate heart rates and even blood pressure: if you have serious questions about your health, you may want to go as far as to ask your doctor before attending FrightTown.

Yes. Bridge walk participants with wheelchairs will be transported by bus shuttle to the Dillingham Lot on the north side of the bridge and will access the bridge from that side. After BRIDGING COMMUNITIES wheelchair participants will return to the Dillingham lot and be transported by bus shuttles back to Crissy Field. the festival, there is a paved path between the bathrooms and the tents that provides access to both. Access to food vendors is paved as well.

Every area of the theatre is handicap accessible. There is an elevator that goes to the balcony and office area of the theatre. There is wheelchair seating at both the front and the back of the theatre.
