No, we do not use wheat gluten, rice gluten or rice protein concentrates in any of our products, including our canned foods. Did you have a problem with dairy products, eggs, wheat, or rice?

Acne Prevention & Control
No. I understand some people can be allergic to these items in other ways, but acne is a bacterial infection, not an allergy. Yes, there may be a large difference between the two. Whey protein isolate is the most pure and concentrated form of whey protein available. It contains 90% or more protein and very little (if any) fat and lactose. Whey protein concentrate has anywhere between 29% and 89% protein depending upon the product. As the protein level in whey protein concentrate decreases the amounts of fat and/or lactose usually increase.

That may not be necessary. It's true that some dogs (and some cats) are allergic or sensitive to wheat gluten and they should have a wheat-free diet. If you suspect that your dog is sensitive you should ask your vet for advice. Alternatively, eliminate wheat from the diet for about six weeks to see if that makes a difference or not.
