Independent musicians LOVE our newly released Flash MP3 player and can embed on either MySpace, Friendster or individual webpages.

In general we prefer high resolution files with the JPG file extensions as they are most common and easy to work with. The system can also accept TGA, GIF, PCX, PNG and FLASH (SWF)files. Photoshop files are not supported as web browsers can not display photoshop files. Try to upload as sharp and large an image as possible, but make sure it does not go higher than 200,000 bytes. Flash files can be up to 4 mb's in size.

Family Album Online only supports jpgs, of any size. (You can save your file as a jpg in most photo programs.)

Please test your images by previewing after upload. These images will be used for judging. If this is written material, make sure you are able to read the document from the screen. Accepted file formats: .gif, .jpg, or a link to the actual entry is acceptable. Images files should not exceed 1 MB each Images should be web quality These images should be uploaded in RGB color with .jpg or .gif compression (high/maximum quality setting).

Any type of file can be uploaded on Driveway. But files violating our terms of service, copyrights, obscene or abusive content are forbidden and will be removed. Please notify Driveway if you see such files uploaded on our site by using the ‘Report Abuse’ option.

For images, I'm suggesting imageshack or Photobucket. There are more websites for uploading images; just look in the big book of rescources (Scroll to the top of this post for link). For music, I recommend blogupload, 30mb, or freewebtown. More websites can be found at the big book of rescources.

No content that's inappropriate for public areas or nudity.

Do not upload your non-photo artwork, photos that you've found on the web, stock photos, stuff that appears to be copyrighted by someone else, screenshots, panoramic or oddly sized photos. No content that's inappropriate for public areas or nudity. Nudity, even tasteful, is probably not going to make the cut.

No uploading images that are retouched in any way. Do not upload your non-photo artwork, photos that you've found on the web, stock or celebrity photos, stuff generated from anyone else, , screenshots, panoramic or oddly sized photos. No content that's inappropriate for public areas or nudity.

You can upload many file types, from Microsoft Office documents to pictures and PDFs. In fact, you can save over 1,000 Office documents in your workspace, based on the average file size and use of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint by students, work, and home users. For your protection, we don?t allow the uploading of files that could cause security issues such as .exe files.

FTP is like 'My Computer' for your website. It will allow you to login to your webspace and view the files on your webserver. When you have created your web site you need a way to send those files and images to your webserver so they can be viewed when someone goes to www.yoursite.com. This is where the FTP program comes in... it allows you to take the files on your computer's hard-drive and 'upload' them to your webserver.

The imported CD music data is stored on the hard disks of your Kaleidescape Server(s), along with the data from imported DVDs. The following are our supported file formats: Video: MPEG (.mpg or .mpeg) and MPEG 4 (.mp4), QuickTime (.mov), Audio Video Interleave (.avi), Windows Media Video (.wmv) version 9 or earlier If your content is not in one of the supported file formats, you will need software to convert the file format. While we cannot make a specific software title recommendation, a quick internet search should give you plenty of options.

We accept all music, spoken word, and audio recordings. You must own or have secured all necessary rights to the content, or properly declare the song to be a cover. The content must not violate our policy guidelines.
