There really is no "minimum requirement". Ideally, we like a commitment of 2-hours per week, but if you can only do half that, we'll take it! Most of our volunteers adopt a shift on a particular day (or night) of the week and stick to it. What is most important to us is consistency, so we know when someone is (or isn't) going to be there. If you can only come in every other week, that's fine... as long as we know about it.

There is no minimum requirement for many projects at Warwick Volunteers, which allows you to commit as much or as little of your time as you can manage. However, a number of projects (including many of those working with young people, in education or with vulnerable adults) do require a regular commitment of between one and four hours per week. Most long-term English teaching positions require a maximum of 16 hours/week (prep time, grading, etc. no included). Some long-term English resource positions require up to 40 hours/week. Summer programs positions vary.

If you can't come into the office to help out (or have an allergy to business machines), do not fret. It may take you a little longer to get those hours racked up, but there's lots of stuff happening around LIFT, and we'll usually be able to find stuff for you to do; postering, special events, monthly screenings, workshops, committee work... all of these are things which require evening and/or weekend help.

Each unit requires an average of eight hours self-study per week. Study Periods 1 and 2 run for a period of twenty weeks and Study Period 3 for ten weeks. For the purpose of determining how much time off work to allow for people undertaking the program, our educational consultants advise that the eight hours of self study can be considered equivalent to four hours of lectures plus four hours of self study.

Your hours will vary depending upon what company you choose to internship with. During the course of a the one credit hour internship course you will be required to work a total of 80 hours. The average is ten hours a week. However, you may work more than that to complete the internship sooner.

Depending on the ship's itinerary, employee work hours may vary between 40-70 hours per week. Each employee is expected to work while the ship is at sea as well as working during some port time hours.

It would be ideal if you could commit to a set number of hours per week. This can be anything from a couple of hours (for example an afternoon) per week or a few hours everyday.

You need a minimum of 80 contact hours as a volunteer or employee in a physical therapy setting. At least 40 hours (of the 80 required hours) of volunteer work must be in the acute care hospital setting. A rehabilitation hospital is not considered acute care. We recommend that you have experience in more than one physical therapy environment. The better your career exploration for this professional field, the more you will be certain that you have made the correct choice.

Students who are actively teaching should not take more than two courses in a semester. Two courses in a semester (6 credits) translates to roughly 10-15 hours of work each week, give or take a few hours depending on projects and assignments. Most students log in every other day to check on assignments, etc. At times students will need to set aside blocks of time to be online (a block can mean up to 90 minutes in one sitting).

The average SURE student works from 9.00am to 5.00pm each weekday on their research project. Students will also be asked to attend a weekly seminar, presentation or training session for one to two hours per week.

The full-time IELC program is 23 hours per week. Students with F-1 student visas must attend the program full-time in order to maintain immigration status.

This is a good question and the answer depends on many factors including the type of service you want to receive. A young child requiring early intervention will likely require more support than an older child working on just one or two target behaviours. For our early intervention service using the Assessment of Basic Language and Learning Skills (ABLLS), we recommend a minimum of 10 consultation hours per month.

The courses are structured to provide 48 credit hours. If the course is offered over a 12 week semester, this means you will need to spend about 4 hours per week on the course. Since the courses are offered asynchronously (not live time) you can “fit” your participation into your schedule.

Permits are required 24 hours a day, seven days a week. IVC ENFORCES ALL PARKING (i.e., posted time zones, red curbs, handicapped spaces, etc.) YES, but only in student lots. However, we encourage you to begin displaying your permit on the first day. On the first day of the third week, permit parking enforcement is fully activated during each full semester, and on the first day of the second week of the first Summer Session.

WWW Board May 2000) I set my own hours so it's difficult to say. I work at least 10 hours a day. Rather than keep track of hours, though, I gauge my day by how much I get done. For instance, when penciling I try to do at least 2 pages a day, sometimes as many as 5 depending on complexity. I just keep working until I think the day's work is done.
