No, DeskProto only understands a subset of the DXF format definition. DXF for instance can also contain a 2D drawing with dimension lines, which for DeskProto is useless information. No, IGES files can not be used with DeskProto. Reason is that the IGES format is far more complex than STL, which typically will result in conversion problems.
