Generally speaking trained, certified or licensed health care providers are required to complete health care provider (HCP) level CPR. HCP CPR is also known as CPR for PRofessional Rescuers, or Professional Rescuer CPR. If you do not fit the above description, generally a Heartsaver class will be appropriate for your needs.
There is no minimum age requirement for the hunter education class, however, we do recommend that students under age 12 be accompanied by an adult. There is a written test at the end of the class that the students would need to have adequate reading comprehension skills in order to read and understand the test questions. If your child cannot read, the instructor may read the test to him or have the student listen to an audio version of the exam.

Yes! We have a new class called Tots and Toddlers. It is meant for new parents and includes basic household safety, infant and child CPR/AED, and basic First Aid. Yes! Call us to schedule a class on using your AED. It will be a combined CPR/AED class – and you will get a certification card indicating you've had AED training. Fortunately, we have enough stuffed animals and bears to last a very long time, due to the generosity of our citizens over the years.
