The responses in each student's test should be divided so that three scorers contribute to the scoring of the test. With the exception of an expanded definition of the 0 score point, both the 2-point and the 3-point rubrics are the same as in the previous testing program.

Students who took the exam in 2004 or later do not have to retest unless they wish to do so (to try to raise their scores and improve their chances of being admitted into a specific course). Students who took the exam in 2003 or earlier are required to retake the exam to be eligible for admission to the ATS program.

Scores range from 1-5 with 5 being the highest in the Brainbench scoring system. Within that range, Brainbench recognizes two levels of achievement for standard assessments. A score between 2.75 – 3.99 earns the test taker the standard certification while a score of 4.0 or higher certifies a master level of achievement. All freshmen and sophomores who did not pass the 8th grade AIMS are eligible for tutoring. Similarly, all juniors and seniors, who have not passed one or more portions of the AIMS in order to graduate, are also eligible for tutoring.

Grades earned for credit courses taken as a Non-Degree student are included in grade-point average calculations. While multiple-choice questions allow students to select an answer from a list of options, constructed-response questions require students to provide their own answers. Qualified and trained raters score constructed-response questions. Scoring a large number of constructed responses with a high level of reliability and within a limited time frame is essential to NAEP's success. The first exception is when the student explicitly indicates that they want to submit the score for review by a faculty member. You have the right to control the information that ETS has regarding your test score. No one will see your scores unless you designate them as a score recipient.

Your score report provides your test results for the test administration date indicated on the report. For each test you took, the report lists your total test score, whether or not you met the qualifying score, and an indication of your performance in each subarea or section of the test. For each subarea or section, the score report indicates the number of test questions (within a general range, e.g., 1-10, 11-20) that are in this section of the test.

There is not a required score for the NET test. However, the higher you score on the NET, the better chance that you have to be admitted to the Practical Nursing program.

There is no minimum required test score for the GRE. It is one part of the total application process. The minimum required TOEFL score is 230 (computer based), 570 (paper based), or 88 (internet based).
