The software is registered under the name of You Select It. The template section of the program is called Design Room. We will be introducing more rooms within YSI that include, Edit Room, Showroom, Production Room... plus much more. The features of these rooms will be announced prior to each release.

We offer both private and semi-private rooms. If you would prefer to reserve a private room, please inform us at the earliest possible time to insure that space will be available.

Start by selecting a theme that is not necessarily age specific and then work with a color palette that suits your child's furnishings and accessories - and while you want the room to be your child's special place, you also don't want to select a color that you will tire of easily. Simply increase (or decrease) the space between the repeating elements of your border or design. Another option would be to place a coordinating design between the repeating elements, in such a way that increases (or decreases) the space needed to make your design end right before the corner. But "acoustic" materials don't always have to be engineered products from acoustical manufacturers. Generally, you may not. You will receive a questionnaire once you have secured a housing space. This will ask you about any building requests you may have, as well as asking you for personal interests and habits which will allow us to make appropriate assignments. The questionnaire is also where you may request a specific roommate.

No. WCSU residence halls have been smoke-free since 2001, and State law now requires that all colleges and universities have smoke-free residence halls. If you’re not 21, you may not consume alcohol or be in a room in which it is present or being consumed. For a full explanation of the policy, please read the WCSU University Wide Alcohol Policy.

Rooms are painted by our facilities personnel. If you believe your room needs to be painted, please make a request through your building’s resident director to accomplish this.

Going to the huts is an experience in communal living, and there are often several different groups at a hut each night. When you make a reservation, you are reserving sleeping space in a hut, not specific beds or rooms. You'll choose a place to sleep or work out sleeping arrangements with the other people at the hut when you arrive. Some huts have a few bedrooms with more privacy, but you cannot reserve these specific rooms in advance.

Fairmont has rooms with two queen beds or one king bed, plus a variety of suites with mini-kitchens or fully equipped kitchens. The resort has a total of 152 rooms and suites. Please see our rates and policies page for current rate information.

Between the three resorts, there is quite a choice. A common response is to take the cheaper room, to allow for a longer stay. However, there are amenities (such as A/C, television, mini-bar, etc) that may sway your decision one way or another. Decide which amenities are most important to you, and choose the category of room the best suits your needs.

All rooms are furnished with a bed, desk, chair, closet and drawer space, wastebasket and recycle basket per resident. All rooms have basic window coverings for privacy. You will need to provide sheets (twin sized), bedspreads, pillows, blankets, rugs, and anything else you want to make your room seem more like home. Early in June, the Department of Residential Life sends a list of suggested things to bring.

US Performing Arts Camps are located on the finest campuses in the country. The residence halls offer up-to-date, clean and safe rooms for our campers' accommodations. Most of our accommodations are double occupancy although occasionally we will group students in a triple room due to the number of campers and gender breakdown. Campers can request a roommate and we will attempt to honor the request.
