This website is designed for use with Netscape 5 (or higher), Internet Explorer 6 (or higher) and Firefox browsers, both on Macintoshs and PCs. However, since every browser displays the information provided a little bit differently, we do have preferences, and recommend Firefox. With Mozilla's Firefox browser you can use the keyboard to navigate through the quizzes with ease and speed.

After you click on “finished” click on the "View Results" button and you will be able to review every question and answer explanation, in addition to your score. To check the scores of all of the quizzes previously taken, click on "Quizzes" on the Course Menu; click on the link in the Number Column.

The earlier you arrive, the better your view and the closer you will be to the action. The sound system is set up in the Bowtie area (where Broadway and Seventh Avenue cross), and the video screens on One Times Square (where the Ball is lowered) are easily visible. There isn't such thing as a "perfect" dwell setting (if there were then it wouldn't be adjustable). Every marker operates a little differently and every marker requires a bit of tuning to perform well. The input sensitivity setting is a function of amplifier gain. You will want to match it with the output level of whatever is before the amp in the audio chain (i.e. preamps, mixers). For amplifiers with a 0.775V position, this positions corresponds to a 0 dBu level. The 1.4V position corresponds to a +4 dBu level. The 26 dB position is a fixed gain position. The 26 dB position is also the lowest gain position, and will usually work well with output levels of +10 dBu (2.5Vrms and above).

I test with the latest versions of both Microsoft Internet Explorer and NetScape Navigator. Everything looks and runs good with these packages. If you are running an old browser, try the old mapper at URL http://tiger.census.gov/cgi-bin/mapbrowse. We won't be redesigning anything to accommodate old browsers and we don't particularly want to hear about the problems with them. Keeping your browser software current is *highly* recommended.

When starting the game with one peasant only, full speed is best for a short while. After three or four buildings are completed, it is best to slow the game to one notch below that. This makes units more responsive, so it is possible to cast spells, react to attacks, and so forth. There is no single best adjustment setting for your KONI shocks because every driver and vehicle has different preferences for comfort, performance, performance modifications and roads to drive on. For most vehicles, we suggest that new KONI's be installed in the full soft position (the standard setting right out of the box) to take advantage of the balance of ride comfort and handling designed by the KONI ride development engineers.

The ideal setting depends upon the vehicle, and the driver’s tastes. Settings tend to be different on rear wheel drive cars than on front wheel drive cars. Also, settings will vary between drag racing and road performance environments. Test the different adjustments to find the best combination for your vehicle.
