Yes, AB Tutor Control uses the TCP/IP protocol which is the networking standard of the Internet. In order to connect to another machine, you need to know its IP address. An IP address is a unique number that identifies the machine on the Internet. You need to add this IP address into the Tutor Control program (See Tools - Configuration - Network). The performance will vary depending on the amount of networking bandwidth you have.

All computers have connection set up using an 0845 number. Such a connection is intended for light use as the charge (1p per minute off-peak) can mount up. Should you wish to connect for long periods, the installed connection will let you browse the internet and find another connection package that suits you.
