If you are an ISC in Electrical Servicing graduate with minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 (inclusive of CCA bonus), you can apply for progression to the full-time Nitec in Electrical Technology, Electronics and Mechatronics courses. Applicants for these courses must be free from colour blindness. If you are an ISC in Mechanical Servicing graduate with minimum cumulative GPA of 2.

You can still register over the counter at our Customer Service Centres or your campus of study during office hours (subject to the availability of vacancies). However, we encourage all applicants to register during the registration period stipulated, as vacancies may be limited.

Nitec Technical graduates with a GPA of at least 2.3 may apply for progression to a Higher Nitec Engineering / ICT course. Nitec in Service Skills graduates with GPA of at least 2.8 are eligible to apply for progression to a Higher Nitec Business course. Nitec Technical graduates with GPA 3.5 may apply for admission to a related diploma course at the polytechnics.

To benefit more from the course, applicants are advised to apply for courses they are eligible in. However, applicants who do not meet the entry requirement can sit for an Entrance Test conducted by ITE at a fee of $10. The Entrance Test is conducted throughout the year. The test is available on-line for walk-in applicants at any of the Customer Service Centres at ITE HQ, ITE College West (Ang Mo Kio Campus), ITE College Central (MacPherson Campus) and ITE College East.

Higher Nitec graduates with good results may apply for admission to a related Diploma course at the Polytechnics. Those with Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.5 and above may apply for direct admission to the second year of a relevant Diploma course.

ISC courses are designed to be competitive, challenging, and dynamic. This does not mean that students are competing against each other; rather, each student competes with herself, seeking to excel in a manner that is personally comfortable. This sense of self-competition and self-challenge creates a very dynamic learning environment where students enjoy improving their skills to help each other. The more-advanced students help the lesser-advanced students, in a team effort.

Courses offered at the International Study Centre (ISC) at Herstmonceux Castle, East Sussex, ordinarily include courses at the 100, 200, and 300 levels, and the upper-year courses may be in accelerated format (full-year credits in half-year deliveries) to make it possible for students traveling abroad to fulfill the English curriculum requirements on schedule. A Nitec graduate applying for part-time Higher Nitec courses will enjoy equal standing as GCE 'O' applicants who met the entry requirement for Higher Nitec courses.

There is generally no age limit for our full-time courses if the applicants meet the entry requirements. You are advised to consider other courses during the appeal phase as you have been assessed as not suitable for the course at the interview / drawing test.

International Student Convention is a yearly competition for students 13 and older from all over the world. Participants select from over 130 events in five exciting categories, including Music, Speech/Drama, Athletics, Arts, and Academics.

Trainees graduate with a Nitec, and will hence be eligible to apply for a related Higher Nitec or Diploma course on the same basis as ITE full-time graduates.
