There are two places in India that we know of where there are surfboards for rent -- Kovalam beach in Kerala and here at our Ashram, but our boards are reserved for guests only (see Ashram Surf Tour). Regarding Kovalam beach, the last time we visited there were probably about a dozen or so boards for rent by locals who stack them under umbrellas on the beach.

The development of an effective operating group is a journey, not a single event or set of activities. Challenge Discovery programs use an experiential approach to promote individual and group learning, enhance the group's performance and set a foundation for continued development. Success turns on how the group analyzes each problem, identifies and allocates resources, and creates and executes a plan. Participants will see how group support enhances individual achievement.

Chaperones are a vital part of Challenge Discovery programs, for a number of reasons. First of all, they help reinforce the learning from our programs with their team members after they return to school, church, etc. Second, they play an important role in our debriefing sessions at the end of programs, when our Challenge Discovery facilitators ask for their insights into the team's process.

The cable TV system plant dedicates a standard cable TV channel for data transfer of Internet and multimedia services.
