The shoes, clogs, and boots have removable insoles. Remove these and wash the footwear with mild soap and water, then dry with a paper towel. Replace the insoles inside the footwear and you're back in business. To clean the insoles hand wash with mild soap and water, gently wring out, and lay flat on the counter to dry over night. The sandals can get wet but the way to clean them is with a damp paper towel, a handiwipe, etc.

A polished surface is really a surface so that is so smooth, it is shiny. Naturally, the surface is a microscopic mountain range, with the light reflecting into itself. Buffing smoothes that surface to the point the light reflects back, the ‘glow’ is derived from thousands of fine directional buff lines reflecting light back that is just slightly scattered, this gives fine polished metals that ‘illumination’.

They need polishing only if you want them to stay bright and shiny. They all come with instructions and are easy to polish. If left to their own devices, they will slowly darken (oxidize) over time. You can coat them with a paste wax, such as Johnson's which will greatly inhibit the oxidation, but may make them difficult to polish in the future. Many people choose to let them mature.

Due to the nature and softness of the metal, sterling silver pieces that have a highly polished finish are prone to fine scratches as a result of normal wear. This can be kept to a minimum with careful wear and regular polishing with cream silver cleaner (e.g. Peak). Yes. I seal it with a carnuba oil and beeswax. This helps prevent the natural process of oxidation which over time can give a rock a dusty look. Rocks that are frequently handled will not need any upkeep. However, a rock that simply sets on a shelf in time needs to be polished. Generally speaking YES. Extensively damaged concrete may not be a good candidate. Very soft concrete is more time consuming to achieve good results.

Footwear can be split sole jazz shoes, ballet shoes, trainers or similar. This is something that is personal; you will soon find what suits you. You may have the opportunity to wear heels later on in the course. At the Leicester studio, suede bottomed shoes are recommended. At the Derby studio, rubber soled shoes are recommended.]

No, assume every height as though the celebrity was measured barefoot. This isn't the NBA! I make no claim as to whether any listed height is an evening or early morning one. Technically I think your true height should be measured after you've been standing for about 5-6 hours. After that you won't shrink much more during the rest of the day. Early in the morning you will be taller, shrinkgage varies - some might shrink 0.8cm, others 1.5cm during the course of a day.
