Place the file(s) in a directory called "mapadvisor" on the storage card (Secure Digital card, Memory Stick, etc.). For PocketPC devices, this may be done via ActiveSync, and the directory may be accessed through "My Pocket PC\Storage Card\mapadvisor". For Palm devices, a separate storage card reader/writer is required to place the file(s) in the "mapadvisor" directory. To access the files in MapAdvisor, click "File->Open LOC or GPX file on card".

The MapAdvisor menu option "File->Save track to GPX file on card" will create a file in directory /mapadvisor on storage card. This file includes the current track information and all waypoints you see on the screen. You can open a file later in other programs and view the track there. For example, it can be opened with the PC program QuakeMap.

You can import GPX files into MapAdvisor via QuakeMap to get waypoint information. However, geocache information obtained in this manner contains no logs. The geocache waypoints only have a short description and "last found" dates.

Open the Map Manager from the menu via File->Map Manager. Select the Card tab. Select the directory which contains your maps (either \mamaps8 or a subdirectory of \mamaps8). Click "Open Zoom8 Map Directory".

GPX is a non proprietary GPS orientated variation of an XML format. See http://www.topografix.com/GPX/1/1 for further information about gpx files. If you export user features in gpx format the resulting file will be somewhat larger than an xmlf file. All user feature attributes are exported from Freshmap using the gpx format, but gpx files imported from other sources may not contain all details.

You can find locations of geocaches in your local area and LOC files for them via the www.geocaching.com website. This is free and easy to use. However the geocache information in LOC file is limited to the cache's name, short description, and location. There are no geocache logs in LOC files. We recommend you use small LOC files that only have information about 1 geocache, because reading a file from the storage card is slow on Palm devices.

To bring text into a Web4Print text frame, just cut and paste directly from a word-processing document. You can also import EPS, TIF, JPG, GIF and BMP files and treat them as images/objects within a Web4Print document.

GPX format is an extended format that contains a lot of information about geocaches including recent logs (who and when found this geocache). You should have a subscription to receive updates of GPX files from website www.geocaching.com. This information is extremely useful when hunting for geocaches. If you have a subscription, you can order files with up to 500 geocaches around your coordinates. If you are not planning to find distant geocaches, order files with 100 geocaches.

GPX (GPS eXchange Format) is an XML based format designed for transferring GPS data between GPS devices and software applications.

In theory Facade can run from a storage card, and some users have reported success with this. However, this does not always work so it is not recommended. The problem is that on some phones the storage card is not quite "on line" yet at the point when the home screen is being initialized, so the Facade portions of the screen will fail to load.

If you are using PhotoShop CS and have the appropiate raw file plug-in, YSI will import Camera Raw Files. The Raw file conversion will only engage when you export a finished layout direclty into PhotoShop or Batch process all files as PSD's. Each image within a aperture will be prompt for conversion as the layout is built.

The Import Files dialog allows you to select multiple files provided you are running Python 2.3 or above. There is also an importFiles script in LeoPy.leo. You can use that script as follows: import leoImport leoImport.importFiles(aDirectory, ".py") This will import all .py files from aDirectory, which should be a full path to a particular directory. You could use ".c" to import all .c files, etc.

I have an SD Storage Card to store the m-Vision application and content but the videos will not play.

You can't in general, because Matlab doesn't know how to figure out which of the many supported formats is used in any given signal file, because it can't understand the most commonly used formats in any case, and because (in many cases) signal files are orders of magnitude larger than any matrix that Matlab can handle. See How can I read signal files? for a variety of ways to read signal files from Matlab without using its import feature.

You can't, because Excel doesn't know how to figure out which of the many supported formats is used in any given signal file, because it can't understand any of those formats in any case, and because signal files are almost always orders of magnitude larger than any spreadsheet that Excel can handle. Spreadsheets are not suitable for studying, visualizing, or analyzing digitized signals; many better tools are freely available in PhysioToolkit.

To import, use "File >Import" and choose a file format (RTF; HTML; ASCII), then search for the files you want to import in the file system (shown on the left) and drag them to the right. The program can import multiple files at one time and automatically divide a single file into pages. Use CTRL+ CTRL- after the import to see the pages. The import functions sometimes discards the text format, so it would be better to use the native program functions once you have learned them.
