You don't have to use a cover, but it is recommended because it will protect your mattress (the mattress fits inside the cover) and is removable for easy cleaning. You are able to choose from a variety patterns and colors to give it the look you want. See the covers page to see the selection.

Assembly is easy. All the instructions (in Japanese and English) and all parts for assembly are included.

The wooden frames will arrive well packed in a cardboard box. Mattresses arrives inside a strong plastic bag.
