What is pressure-sensitive tape?

Better Packages - FAQs
Pressure sensitive tape (PST) is a surface mount form of tape with a dry adhesive applied to the film to adhere to cartons. PST adhesives can be made from natural rubber, hot melt glues or acrylic chemicals. Natural rubber is the best but most expensive and can be used from 0 to 150 degrees F but can yellow with age. Acrylic is good on temperatures from 32 to 140 degrees F and will not yellow. Hot melt is the lowest-cost material and generally works from 40 to 120 degrees F.

How should I laminate pressure sensitive tapes?

Frequently Asked Questions - CCT Tapes
CCT adhesives are usually laminated through a simple nip roll process which applies pressure to the adhesive and the material being bonded to bring them into contact. Many laminating processes use heat to enhance the bond between materials. Heat is often applied from underneath the laminate by a heat platen or it is applied directly to the adhesive by use of an “infrared” heat lamp.

Is there a fee for pressure-sensitive labels?

FAQ
Flexo-graphic labels incur a fee, including plate charges. Fees vary according to quantities and label design. In-house pressure sensitive labels used on packaging do not incur a fee.

Is the 9060 sensitive to change in pressure? What is the maximum pressure for the probe?

Teledyne Analytical Instruments | FAQ
If the reference air and process gas are the same pressure, than the readings are unaffected. The percent of volume remains the same. If there is a difference in the flue gas and ambient air pressures, than the analyzer can compensate the reading by entering the flue gas pressure options in set-up steps 34 to 38. The BBRAM / real-time clock is an internally powered device. The battery backup for the RAM is within the internal circuitry of the module and cannot be measured.

What's my pressure?

DripWorks Frequently Asked Questions
Pressure is the amount of force pushing the flow of water. It's measured in pounds per square inch (PSI) and can be easily measured with a low cost pressure gauge. What is the difference between polyester, polypropylene, and vinyl film bases?

The Official USI Laminate Site - Frequently Asked Questions ...
Polyester films, like USI OptiClear, are clearer and a higher quality than lower grade films, which tend to be foggy. Premium films also endure extreme environments and severe stress conditions more favorably. Films with higher polyester content are more rigid and feel thicker than films with more adhesive content. Polypropylene film is softer than polyester, but still has excellent clarity.

Can I apply pressure sensitive films over latex painted surfaces?

Pioneer Supply Company Frequently Asked Questions

hook and loop fasteners - loop fabric - hook and loop - Colo...
The PS Adhesive that we use is rubber based and will bond permanently to about 95% of the substrates that you want to attach to (See PSA Specification Page for details). The only substrates that we warn against using rubber based adhesive on are soft vinyls or fabrics. As a rule our adhesive works well on hard surfaces, not soft ones. We sell our Hook and Loop Fastening Tape on rolls. For Sew On, our rolls are typically 50 Yards long. For PS Adhesive, our rolls are 25 Yards long.
