A student with a learning difficulty (in particular, in literacy or numeracy) must have access to all learning areas and achievement will be reported using the standard primary or secondary report format comparing achievements with those of his/her age cohort at the school.

A student with a verified disability may have a learning plan that describes adjustments that have been put in place to enable the student to access all of the learning areas. For those learning areas which the student is able to access in its entirety, the student's achievement will be reported comparing his/her achievements with those of their age cohort at the school. The standard template will be used for reporting the student's achievement in these learning areas.

A student on an alternative program (i.e. in an alternative education setting) is required to have a program of work derived from the KLA syllabuses. Their achievement will be reported using the standard format of the primary and secondary student reports.

Master's is a school that is designed to challenge students to exceed standards. All the resources in the school are in place to help us achieve that goal. Students who require more specialized or modified programs may not be accommodated. Students already on a specialized learning program in another school, may not be accepted.

The district will work to assign disabled students and non-English-speaking students to schools that have programs to handle their needs. For example, not every school will be able to accommodate children with autism. But several schools will, and the district says families will be able to exercise their options among those schools.

There are nine cabins with beds for 16 students and two adults. Each cabin has four rooms with four beds. There is a teacher's room in each cabin with two beds. Seven of the nine cabins have bathrooms and toilets attached.

SIT is a proven, one-time, permanent solution to correct learning disabilities. It strengthens the areas of reading, spelling, concentration, organizational deficits, short and long term memory, sequencing, auditory and visual (sensory) processing and motor skills. It works with ADD, ADHD, Autism, Asbergers, distractibility, dygraphia, auditory and visual processing deficits and is excellent for ESL, reading, spelling and writing improvement. It is NOT simply a tutorial or reading program.
