What to restore your certificate if your hard drive/server crashes?

Katz.cx -- Quick SSL premium
If your hard drive or server crashes, the crucial question to answer is whether or not you made a back up of the key pair (private key and certificate/public key) prior to the crash. If you did not make a back up prior to the crash, you have most likely lost your private key. Without the private key, the certificate is useless. Once the private key has been lost, the only solution is to purchase a new certificate. Since we never see the private key, we cannot simply resend it to you.
