No, unfortunately with all the special features of V5, Tama & Earth Expo is only compatible with the Tamagotchi® Connection® V5. But, you can still use the previous versions of Tamagotchi® Connection® toys to visit Tamagotchi® Town.

The new Tama Earth & Expo will allow you to travel internationally to different cultural regions on Tamagotchi® Planet. In each area there are brand new games and cool surveys to take. After your trip to Tama & Earth Expo, you will then be given a 10-digit alpha-numeric LOGOUT number that you can enter in your V5 toy. After entering this number, your Gotchi points balance will be updated in your V5 toy.

Getting to Tamagotchi® Town and Tama & Earth Expo is easy! Go to www.tamatown.com. Using your V3, V4, or V4.5 toy, you can visit Tamagotchi® Town. Click on the link to open a new window allowing you to travel to Tamagotchi® Town. You will then be prompted to enter your Tamagotchi® Connection® toy USER NAME. Please make sure to enter your USER NAME exactly as it appears in your toy and not the name of the character.

With the new V4 website, you will now be able to see your character on-screen. And, for the first time, you'll also be able to earn Gotchi points in Tamagotchi® Town. You will be able to earn or shop for up to 10 items at once in your "shopping cart". After your trip to Tamagotchi® Town, you will then be given a 14-digit alpha-numeric LOGOUT number that you can enter in your V4 toy. After entering this number, your Gotchi points balance will be updated in your V4 toy.

When you leave Tama & Earth Expo, make sure to enter the 10-digit LOG OUT password and the number of points you've earned while playing online will appear in your Tamagotchi® Connection® toy.

The most recent Tamagotchi® Connection® toys (V4/V4.5 & V5) all require a LOGIN password to enter the website. Therefore, you must have the correct version of the Tamagotchi® Connection® toy to visit either the V4 or V5 dedicated areas of the site. However, if you don't own a V4/V4.5 or V5 toy, you can still enjoy many of the online games and fun activities that are available at the V3 website. To play these games, simply click on the "V3" button to enter Tamagotchi® Town.

The "History" menu, located in the "Family" section of your Tamagotchi® Connection® toy is a feature in the V4 and V4.5 toys that allows you to view the previous Tamagotchis® that unfortunately didn't survive under your previous care. This memorial will help you to remember those characters that have returned to Tamagotchi® Planet. Therefore, if you have been an excellent caregiver to your Tamagotchis®, then you should not have any characters to view here.

When entering Tama & Earth Expo, you can turn off the music by clicking the music notes on the bottom left corner of the screen. If you want to turn the music back on, you can click on the music notes again to hear it

The format of the encrypted tickets is very different. The MIT V5 KDC can speak the V4 protocol as well as the V5 protocol, so difference number 1 isn't a big problem.
