Some women feel more comfortable wearing a wig cap for security reasons. A wig cap can also be used by those with long hair that needs to be secured back.

Using a wig cap is mainly a matter of personal preference. Most of our clients, whether they have long or short hair, prefer to use wig caps because it holds the hair in place better and helps to keep the wig cleaner. In some instances, it may also prevent hair breakage due to the wig cap rubbing against the scalp. Wig caps are also quite useful if you have longer hair.

No! One common misconception of non-members is that you must be a pilot to join the CAP. Not true! In fact, several members of Col James H Kasler Senior Squadron are not pilots, but they do have a love for flying! If you wish to become a flying member of the CAP, you must first obtain a FAA Private Pilot Certificate.

The CAP is an auxiliary of the United States Air Force, but our funding is very limited. Since we are a not-for-profit organization, we can receive items that we need, and any donations are tax-deductible. A meeting place to call home - we're currently meeting at the Greenwood Municipal FBO. We could really use a place that we could use for monthly meetings, post safety notices, hold training sessions, and keep a library and computer desk for member use.

The caps of any type of wig - whether made with synthetic or human hair - are made with elastic and elastic eventually wears out. These wig caps will last about eight months to one year if you wear the wig eight hours a day every day. If you wear it only now and then it will last a lot longer. Vacuum wigs last longer because the caps do not stretch out. They can last for two or three years depending on use and care. The ready-made styles are the most common.

In general, most people find that the skin-like cap looks most like a natural scalp. In cases where a client has no hair, we recommend a monofilament cap, as this allows the client's real scalp to show thru the wig. In most cases, though, it is really a matter of personal preference.

No Radio Operator license is required, but training is required prior to operation of the CAP radios. You will need Radio Operator Authorization (CAP Form 76) (pdf or doc) and in Indiana Wing, it is issued by Irwin Kleinman. Fill out the form and email it to Irwin here, or fax it to him at (708) 239-0630. of Jan 1st, 2003 INWG (see MCB info) requires that the member meets with a Mission Certification Board, fills out the checklist and (the 3 Board members) sign at bottom.

Even if you are a member with an ID card and uniform, you must first attend the Level I Orientation and Cadet Protection Program training. There are cadets present at most CAP activities, and you must clearly understand the policies of the CAP prior to attending any of the activities where cadets are present. Ask your squadron commander how to go about getting your Level I Orientation and Cadet Protection Program training under your belt.

Liners are thin caps made of nylon or fishnet material. They are optional. The purpose of a cap is it keep a barrier between you and your Hair Replacement. It will also keep the Hair Replacement cleaner. The caps can be cleaned with shampoo or mild soap.

The use of wig spray is a personal choice. If you like to use hair spray on your own hair, you might want to use a wig spray on your wig, for that little added control. It's up to you. But, if you do choose to use a spray, we highly recommend Brandywine Wig Spray. You can purchase it by going to Wig Accessories. We DO NOT recommend a regular hair spray. A wig spray is formulated to have less alcohol, and is less damaging to wigs. It is also easier to wash out than a regular hair spray.

No matter what your hair length we would recommend that you use a Wig Cap Liner. This will hold all hairs securely in place under your wig. Even if you have no hair this liner will make wearing your wig feel more secure. Hold the wig with one hand by the back (where the tags are). Loosen the velcro straps or hooks in the back of the wig, you can re-size it later. Grasp the wig by the sides and slip it over your hair.

Though there is somewhat of a learning curve for perfecting your application, you do not need to have the skills of a licensed cosmetologist to benefit from these extensions. After removing the protective hair net, hold your wig by the front hairline and shake it gently to separate the fibers and “wake up” the style. Be sure to keep the hair net for storing your wig between wearings. Mist your wig with clean, cool water and use your fingertips or a wide-toothed comb to style it. Let it air dry on a wig stand. We suggest you use a Especially Yours Wig Liner to hold your hair in place.

Caps provide protection from water intrusion damage, animal entry, spark escape (spark arrester), down drafts, etc. Much like the sidewalk / street, water intrusion with expansion / contraction causes cracks. This is undesirable in the firewalls of your chimney.

Chimney caps protect your home by preventing animals or birds from getting into your chimney. Caps also keep the rain out which can do quite a bit of damage to the interior of the chimney and firebox. They are also designed to contain sparks and cinders from igniting your roof or other surroundings.

A salary cap is a limit on the amount teams can spend on player contracts, which helps to maintain competitive balance in the league. Without a salary cap, teams with deeper pockets can simply outspend the remaining teams for the better free agents. The basic idea is that a team can only sign a free agent if the total payroll for the team will not exceed the salary cap. So a team with deep pockets is playing on a level playing field with every other team.
