Projectors are normally positioned in the middle or back of a room and project forward onto a screen. A rear projector will display the image onto the screen from behind it. The main advantage is that people cannot walk between the projector and screen blocking out the image. Most Sanyo multimedia projectors can be used as rear projectors. You would need either a rear projection screen or mount the projector in a rear projection cabinet.

Yes, the precise details about how to use Videodelic with a projector depends primarily on your computer hardware (i.e. what model of Macintosh you have and what, if any, additional, video input/output your monitor/video card has) and your projector. Rear fill" refers to the presence of depth and ambiance in music. A properly designed system using two channels will reproduce original rear fill on the source without rear high frequency drivers. Since recordings are made in two channels, that is all you will need to reproduce it. What is captured at the recording session (coincident pair mics, Blumlein mic patterns, etc.) by a two channel mic array will capture the so called rear fill or ambiance.

Do not disassemble the projector. Disassembling the projector exposes you to the risk of an electric shock. Avoid hot surfaces such as the Lamp Change door. Wait at least 30 minutes before opening the lamp change door and changing the bulb. Do not set anything on top of the projector. Please do not ship the projector in the soft shell case. Shipping the projector in the soft shell case will damage the projector. Most of the classrooms have similar setups with minor differences. We are currently working methodically to remove all of the wall switches to decrease the lamp burn-out rate. However, until this is done there remains two separate ways a projector may be turned on. If the remote control does not display a power button, then the projector is most likely ignited using a wall switch. This is usually located next to the teacher's workstation, or directly behind the workstation near the white board.
