All AF’s serve the same purpose of promoting French language and culture in their community. They also possess bylaws that are approved by the Alliance Française de Paris allowing these chapters to carry the AF name and logo. Each AF in the world must offer the following services: French language classes, social and cultural events and activities, and up-to-date resources about France and francophone countries. The quantity and frequency of programs vary by chapter due to size.

Currently, we have chapters at 218 colleges and universities nationwide, in all 50 states, the District of Columbia, and Puerto Rico. They include The George Washington University, where we were chartered in 1994, Princeton, UCLA, UC-Berkeley, the University of Virginia, Howard University, the United States Naval Academy, Rice, Brigham Young and Dartmouth.

Chapter 7 is designed for individuals, corporations and partnerships in financial difficulty who do not have the ability to pay their existing debts. Under chapter 7 a trustee takes possession of all the debtor's non-exempt property, liquidates it for cash and uses the proceeds to pay creditors according to priorities of the Bankruptcy Code. Chapter 9 is designed to allow a municipality to continue operating while it works out a repayment plan for its creditors.

Chapter 7 is the liquidation chapter of the Bankruptcy Code. Chapter 7 cases are often referred to as "straight bankruptcy" or "liquidation" cases. They may be filed by an individual, a corporation, or a partnership. Under Chapter 7, a trustee is appointed to collect and sell all property that is not mortgaged or exempt and to use any proceeds to pay creditors.

Chapters can meet monthly, bi-monthly or quarterly. Many chapters also hold one and two-day training events.

To navigate through the chapters, you will find a blue chapter drop down menu across the top, just under the course title bar, which will allow you to jump to specific chapters. On the right side of the drop down bar is a set of “Back” and “Next” buttons. Use these if you want to simply page through the course a page at a time. If you prefer, you can utilize the menu tree navigation on the left-hand side and jump to specific chapters, chapter sections or subjects.

I'm initially planning on 10 chapters, possible 15. This will depend on how much information flows from this brain. For those people who are familiar with my work, or have read the magazine articles, there is a lot of information I would like to share. The slideshow is the only chapter on the DVD. At this time, users do not have the option to add additional chapters to the DVD.

Once you are logged into your Baby Journal, simply run your mouse over the Chapter you would like to edit, and a drop down menu of the sections within the Chapter will appear. Click on which section you would like to edit. Then click on the “Edit” links beneath the photographs and the fill-in-the-blank parts of the section you are currently in.

Currently there are 73 chartered chapters and 24 prospective or provisional chapters for a total of 97 chapters nationwide. There are also 9 Juniors Groups nationwide.

NCL Chapters can be found in 14 states. California and Texas are home to the majority of NCL chapters.

The holes in the chapter numbering are for chapters yet to be written. The holes are there so future chapters can easily be inserted without renumbering everything. Odd chapter numbers (such as Chapter 9A, 9B, and 9C) results when new material is added. It would be awkward (to humans and search engines) to renumber old chapters, so the new chapters must get new numbers.
