You may use any standard laundry detergent or bleach products designed for use in home washing machines. Please be sure to carefully read and follow the instructions provided by the detergent or bleach manufacturer. Only use the amount of cleaning product recommended by the manufacturer.

I don't recommend Dawn detergent as many versions contain oils and enzymes that will make the fleece on the diapers repel liquid. Any type of dish detergent is also very harsh on the diapers and will make them wear out. You can add a very small amount of Calgon water softener if you have hard water. CALGON? Water Softener boosts the power of your laundry detergent by removing hard water minerals that trap dirt into fabric fibers.

The detergent we recommend are Allen's Naturally, Charlie's Soap, or Ecover. Grocery store brands are fine, but you need to stay away from Free & Clear, detergents with bleach, or baby versions of soap. Please note that most detergents sold in health food stores are NOT suitable for Fuzzi Bunz because they use citrus oils as a surfactant - what gets stuff clean. Citrus oils will cause repelling because oil and water do not mix.

Although InfinityGLARE Plus is able to resist the corrosiveness of most household detergent, it is still not advisable to use any detergent to wash your car. The residue in most detergents can affect the mirror finish. Simply use the car wash we supply with our kits. The car wash is design with the right PH balance and has other ingredients to look after your cars paintwork.

If you are using Vanish in wash powders, liquids or tablets, you still need to use your usual detergent. Vanish in wash is designed to work in conjunction with your detergent.

Any washing detergent recommended by Fuzzi Bunz should be adequate; however using 1/6 of the recommended amount is required for a front loader. If there are too many suds, reduce your amount of liquid, if the diapers are not getting clean enough, increase your liquid.

Coconut oil surfactants is also know as coconut fatty acid: Cocamides are manufactured by condensation of alkanolamines (mono-, di-, or triethanolamine) and coconut fatty acid. Examples are cocamide MEA (cocamide monoethanolamine), cocamide DEA (cocamide diethanolamine) and cocamide TEA (cocamide triethanolamine). They act as lubricant agent, thickening agent and wetting agent.

The HealthSmart™ Bed Top must be washed separately. This will prevent damage to the top from other items that may snag or tear the fabric. Washing separately will also prevent the washing machine from becoming overloaded. All sizes and models of the replacement top may be dry-cleaned, commercially laundered or machine-washed in a larger capacity front load washer at home.

When using NapiSan powder products as a soaker there is no need to wash with detergent after using NapiSan. However you should always rinse the item thoroughly following treatment. We use "Dawn" dish washing liquid. IBRRC has conducted research on most of the commonly available cleaning agents and "Dawn" meets all the criteria we have established for appropriate cleaning agents. Those criteria are the ability to remove most oils, effectiveness at low concentrations, non-irritating to the skin and eyes, rapid removal from feathers (rinsing), and is easily accessible.

This depends on the hardness of your water and the soil in your clothing. Softened water requires quite a bit less detergent than hard water -yet the more soiled the clothes, the more detergent you need to clean them. See the instructions on the detergent package for specific guidelines. If soap suds remain at the end of the cycle, you are probably using too much detergent.

If this is so, then this is most likely the problem as there is no chlorine bleaching agents in liquid powder and it has a tendency leave the machine smelling a bit after a while. It is also prone to over-dosing, which can lead to a congealed mass of hardened detergent in the inner or outer drum which, in bad cases can actually corrode the drum shaft.

Technically speaking, any cleansing agent with a composition other than soap that cleans by much the same mechanisms as does soap. In other words, a soap substitute. Detergent materials are derived from Petroleum, Fatty Acids and other sources.

My personal recommendation is that if you are unsure of what to use and you don't wish to experiment, use products that are identical or similar to those in existence when your Model T was made and you can't go wrong.
