The Preschools are open from 7:30am to 5:30pm, Monday through Friday. The After School Program has before school care from 7:30am to 9:00 am, and then reopens from 1:00 pm to 6:00pm Monday through Friday. Preschools are open year-round and are closed on major holidays with a week off during the Winter holidays. The After School Program is closed during major school holidays as well as during the summer, two weeks for the Winter holidays and one week for Spring break.

Practice continues on through July. There is no practice during August for age group swimmers, and the team starts up again just around Labor Day . Juniors and Senior Swimmers do swim for a few weeks in August.

In general there is six days working pattern in India with a holiday on Sunday. Most of the Banks, Government offices, institutes etc. remain close on Sunday but all the services like train, airlines, hotels etc. work. Now five days working trend is also coming in major cities. All the major festivals are holidays. Some towns and regions have festivals, which are holidays in the area. It is advisable to confirm holidays before planning your tour to avoid any inconvenience.

The timings of the post office are from 1000 to 1630 hrs form Monday to Friday and 0930 to 1230 hrs on Saturdays. The administrative offices are open from Monday to Friday from 0930 to 1700 hrs and 0930 to 1230 hrs on Saturdays.

Trash pickup is delayed 1 day for the following holidays; Christmas Day, New Years Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day and Thanksgiving Day.

A student need not to come back to India every year during his vacation but if a student wants to come he/she has to inform the university accordingly.

On days prior to a service day on which the administrative offices are not open at all (e.g., a Sunday prior to a Monday service day), the reservation service must be open during the same hours that the administrative offices would usually be open, such as from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. It should also be noted that a reservation service on any day does not have to be provided directly by a real person. An answering machine or other technology can suffice.

The collection service would be cancelled on the Holiday and other services moved AHEAD one day. Bulk pick ups are cancelled on Holiday weeks. Example: Monday Holiday, Monday pick up is on Tuesday, paper pick up is moved to Thursday, and co-mingles recyclables moved to Friday.
