The NuTCRACKER Platform is the runtime component of Toolkit that provides UNIX system-layer emulation in a Win32 environment. MKS Toolkit for Enterprise Developers and MKS Toolkit for Professional Developers include header files, libraries, and other SDK tools that support development and deployment of NuTCRACKER Platform applications and DLLs.

You must install it before you can use the NuTCRACKER Deployment Wizard to distribute your application. There are three ways to install it:

Auditions for Ballet Hawaii's Nutcracker are typically in September. All students auditioning must be 6 years of age by the audition date. Students do not have to prepare a routine to audition. There is no pre-registration. All paperwork will be available at the audition. If chosen for a role, each dancer and a parent or guardian will be required to sign a contract confirming their commitment to the rehearsal and performance schedule.

You are the best judge for what your child is ready for but generally we recommend anywhere from 3-99 yrs old. However, if your child has difficulty sitting through a movie, as a courtesy to other patrons you might want to make other arrangements.

Toolkit cannot determine whether a particular entry in argv is a file path or not. Only your program can know what each argument represents.

All releases going forward from NuTCRACKER 4.0 are upwardly binary compatible. In particular, NuTCRACKER 4.5, 4.3, 4.2a, 4.2, 4.1 and 4.0 are compatible. This means that an application built with NuTCRACKER 4.0 will run with no problems on subsequent releases of the NuTCRACKER Platform. Toolkit 7.5 includes NuTCRACKER Platform 4.5.

You will pick up your tickets at the show. Watch for a mail/E-mail about 3 weeks before the show with directions and other show information.

All tickets are picked up at the box office on the day of the performance. If you would like to have your tickets prior to the date of performance, please stop by the box office anytime and we will print them for you. In the event you need to re-schedule your performance date, tickets must be returned to the box office before any changes to reservations may be made.
