In your story manager, click on the chapter number links, which will take you to the live editing. In the bottom right hand corner is a button that says spell check. The HyperNotepad is a Notepad with multiple note tabs that pops whenever you press the F10 hotkey for you to take instant notes. HyperNotepad is wonderful to take notes while on the phone, or if you remember something during work and you do not want to disturb your work flow to find a pen and paper. If you think that you make a lot of spelling mistakes while composing messages, not to worry! There is a handy spell checking tool, that comes to your rescue. To use this tool, simpy click the "Preview and spell check" button found at the bottom of the compose page along with the other buttons. The words in red, denote mis-spelled words. You can then choose to ignore your mistakes and proceed, or you could click the "edit post" button, and edit your mistakes.

When creating a sentence in WDT, you can't make a spelling mistake, because you copy and paste each word from the dictionaries.

The same as for the preview option, make sure you're using the full reply option and not the quick reply. The spell checker will also function the same as the preview option--at the top of the page, your post will appear as it will the thread, but with misspelled words in red. The edit box will be under the spell check preview should you need to make any corrections.

MSIE USERS: The best solution at this point is to download the free "IESpell" program from www.iespell.com and install it in your computer. This has the advantage of allowing you to spell check virtually any other program or website having a text box. Just right click in the box and select IESpell from the context menu. It's really a nice program.

Here is a macro to do it. These should be put in your .exrc file. (More on .exrc files later on.) It is a pretty simple macro, it just calls ispell on the current file. Of course, to use this you need ispell on your system. To use it, just hit V with vi. (V is not used by vi, so it makes a good key.) The second ^M makes it so that one does not need to hit return after it is done checking the spelling.
