An email redirect basically takes mail sent to it and forwards it to another email address. For example, if foo@rebelsquadrons.org is a redirect for bar@aol.com, then any email sent to foo@rebelsquadrons.org will show up in bar@aol.com's inbox. Most RS members are eligable for one personal email redirect with the rebelsquadrons.org domain. If you would like a redirect, please email the IO.

These "aliases" are simply lines of code in your HOME directory which "bounce" emails from one email address to another. Let's say you have a webpage and you want people to email you, but you don't want your personal email address to appear on the page. Solution? Use a forwarding email account. This is similar to setting up Autoresponders, but with one extra twist.
