Is there a way to autostart PStart when I plug in my USB drive?
Pegtop PStartWindows reads the autorun.inf file (if available) when you plug in your USB device. However Windows handles USB devices and CDs differently. Usually the file specified in the autorun.inf file is not executed but a dialog pops up, letting the user decide what to do. You can change this behaviour on your local system, but of course these settings are useless when you plug in your storage device to another PC.

Every time I plug in the USB Flash Drive I can only see 1.44MB. Why?
Offtek.co.uk |The USB Flash Drive has two partitions on there. One is a 1.44MB size (size of the floppy disk) and the other is the remainder of the flash memory. If your PC/MAC is not showing both partitions then there could be one of two things wrong (not serious). On the side of the pen is a write-protect switch. Move the switch to the unlock sign and plug it into your USB socket. You should now have two drives in Windows Explorer. Make sure that you eject the device safely before moving any switches. I am hearing noises when I plug my AC/USB Boostaroo into my PC. Is my unit defective?
Frequently Asked Boostaroo QuestionsThe answer is no, your AC/USB Boostaroo isn't defective. What you are hearing is the transient noise that your PC produces naturally through oscillation of your power supply and the hard drive whine caused by its mechanical spin. These noises are much more common in older PC's, but a lot of newer PC's have noise filters built into the PC's USB ports, which eliminates these noises. If this problem is occurring, we recommend using the AC power supply for your Boostaroo instead of the USB cable. See similar questions...
