Proper bracelet sizing requires special expertise and experience. It also requires the presence of the watch owner to insure a proper fit. If you are not familiar with bracelet sizing procedures, the pins could become damaged and that may lead to failure of the pin. We highly recommend you seek the assistance of an experienced technician and you should consult your local jeweler or watch maker.

You want them to be slightly loose, but not so loose that it will flip or rotate easily. For example; if your wrist is 7, you want a Watch that is slightly larger, 7? or 7? should do. If you stretch watch is too tight, it will probably over-stretch and can break in time, be sure it is slightly loose.

Metal bracelets should be washed carefully in water. If really dirty, use a soft toothbrush with soap and water to brush away the dirt. Finally, rinse with water and dry carefully with a soft cloth. If your watch is not water resistant, be careful not to get water on the case. Cases should be wiped gently with a slightly moistened soft cloth and then dried carefully. Leather straps should be slightly loosened in the summer, when they may absorb perspiration.

Bangle bracelet size, measure the circumference of your tightly clenched hand with your four fingers straight and your thumb turned in to touch your pinky. Please measure over your knuckles, fist area. ( if = 8" select size 8" L.) Cuff & hinged bracelet size, measure the circumference of your wrist.

We always recommend taking your new watch to a local jeweler for sizing. Make sure you are happy with your watch before sizing or engraving ,as sized watches are not eligible for returns or exchanges.

You can wear a magnetic bracelet if you have a quartz watch (i.e. a battery watch). A wind up watch will not keep accurate time if worn with a magnetic bracelet. If your bracelet is a super strength bracelet with 3,000 gauss/300 m tesla or stronger magnets in then there is a possibility that even a quartz watch may begin to lose time, if this occurs it is better to wear the watch on the opposite arm wear there will be no interference (unless a magnetic bracelet is worn on each wrist).

Yes. You can arrange to get extra links through the jeweler where you bought the watch, or you can go through the Bulova Bracelet Department. Bulova will supply two extra links at no cost (except bracelets that are made of karat gold, for which all extra links must be purchased.) Any additional links (beyond the first two) must be purchased. Send your request, with the watch so the links can be attached, to: Bulova Customer Service Center

The removal of links from a watch is a professional procedure normally done at time of sale. If you purchased your watch through the mail or Internet, it is unlikely that your watch bracelet has been adjusted. This procedure is not recommended for the consumer. If You send the watch to Bulova's Service Department, with an indication of the correct size (length) and/or the number of links to be removed, your new watch bracelet will be adjusted at no charge.

a sizing guideline, bangles or link bracelets need to be a minimum of 0.50 inches bigger than your wrist. Every individual is different so you may like it 0.75 inches bigger or even 1.00 inch bigger depending on your own preference. Take a tape measure to wrap around your wrist, then add however many inches you feel would be the most comfortable for you. For example if your wrist measures 6.50 inches then you can fit a 7 inch or bigger. Resizing charges apply so please measure accurately!
