We do not require the SAT / ACT for admission. However, we do recommend that you still take them. If you have taken the test, feel free to forward your scores to the Office of Admissions for review.

Academic requirements are subject to change based upon the number of applicants, available funding, timing of application for admission, and the requirements which may be imposed by donors of the various scholarships. However, students presenting at least a 90 un-weighted high school average and critical reading and math combined SAT score of 1200 (or ACT scores of 27 or higher) should consider themselves competitive scholarship candidates.

The Graduate Council requires a bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university or foreign equivalent. The minimum GPA is 2.7 out of a possible 4.0 on undergraduate coursework or a 3.0 on a 4-point scale for any graduate work. Other conditions may apply. Refer to the Graduate Catalog for additional information. For international student admission, the minimum GPA is a B average on all academic coursework. A Foreign undergraduate degree must be equivalent to a 4-year U.

In general, we look for at least a B undergraduate average, but the overall record is of primary importance. Individual programs may be interested in how an applicant did in specific courses, whether the undergraduate background course work was adequate for the program, and whether the applicant showed a pattern of improvement during undergraduate study. There is no specific cut-off for the GRE.

Yes. Regardless of your high school grade point average, your official SAT Reasoning/ACT test scores are required.

We require a score from one of the two national standardized tests for registration purposes. Students can take either the ACT or the SAT to satisfy this requirement. Presently, the writing component for each exam is not required.

Please note that applicants interested in the Principal Licensure Strand of the School Leadership Program must submit the following items with the application: official letter signed by your principal on school letterhead verifying your employment. This letter must clearly state that you have taught as a full-time teacher for at least four years and include the dates of employment. You can submit an application.

No. There are no cutoffs and we do not admit "by the numbers." The mid 50% for students admitted to the class of 2010 are as follows: SAT (critical reading/math) 1480-1560 and ACT (english/math) 33-35.

ACT/SAT scores are used to place students into the appropriate levels of math, English, and reading courses. If ACT or SAT scores place students into courses below college-level, they may try to improve their course placement by taking the COMPASS test.

SAT or ACT scores are required for all applicants who graduated from high school after 1998. This requirement is waived for transfer students who have completed a minimum of 24 credits with a GPA of at least 2.0.

The chapters will take into account a participant's SAT/ACT scores along with her high school/college grades. If a Potential New Member's scores/grades are low, the chapters will have concern for the possibility of the Potential New Member experiencing difficulty in managing the time commitment required for New Member Education and a busy school schedule.

Our Student Records Department has PSAT, SAT and ACT test scores on the transcripts for some students, but only if the student provided us with his/her correct social security number and put the correct social security number on the test at the time the test was taken. Test scores are posted from a data file purchased from the testing company, so we can't be certain that all information is provided. We are under no requirement to maintain these scores, but do so as a convenience to the students.

There is not a minimum GPA requirement. Our average for the class of 2008 was 3.4. Students who are admitted with a GPA below a 3.0 are admitted on a probationary status and must maintain a 3.0 or higher in the fall semester in order to continue with the program.

All freshmen applicants are required to take either the College Board's Scholastic Assessment Test (SAT) or the ACT by November 2007. There is no minimum SAT or ACT score required for admission. Freshman applicants are ranked using the CSU eligibility index which combines the grade point average and SAT/ACT test scores. For fall 2007, the average SAT score of admitted freshmen who met the selective criteria was 1,128; the average ACT composite score was 24.

There are no minimum requirements or cut-offs. The admissions committee takes all parts of your application into consideration and reviews it as a whole. On average, entering students have GRE scores in the 80th percentile and GPAs of 3.5 or higher.

What we are most interested in is the applicant's research potential. These scores are just one of many criteria we consider. There are no minimum scores. Yes. Students must have a minimum overall (cumulative) GPA of 3.0 or higher and a "Required Support Courses" and "Knowledge Area Requirements" GPA of 3.0 or higher (*classes on pre-requisite sheet). These classes also require a grade of "C" or better (a C- grade is not acceptable). No ACT requirement.
