Our standard length for a 1½” thick countertop is 7’. In certain cases, we may exceed that length, but we will always ensure structural safety. A 1½” thick counter top can be overhang 12” without any support. Larger overhangs are made possible by using supports. We use steel rein­forcement in cases where safety and structural integrity may be at risk.

You have locked your FOSSIL, without telling Waffle about it. This is a no-no. Put 'locked: xxxx' in your static file, and Waffle will shut up about 'unsupported'. It actually doesn't matter what speed you use in the locked: parameter, if you have locked using the FOSSIL. For Waffle to not complain about this, echo must be in a consistent state - either always on, or always off. If you want it to be always off, put E0 in your default profile. See similar questions...

Yes. Standard buildings come with practically no overhangs (just enough to get runoff water into a gutter on the eave sides) however, overhangs can be done on one or more sides. They can be either open (where framing can be seen looking directly up from beneath) or enclosed, with soffit material beneath. The most popular dimensions for overhangs are 12, 18 or 24 inches. Yes you can. Click on Options, Reset Overhang. You will be prompted for an amount of allowable overhang in both the length and width. When you exit the program, the new product dimensions will update to the Multi-Viewer Graphics. If you have not used the total amount of overhang requested, it will not show up on your reports. Our counters are generally cast 2” thick, or more, which gives them a pleasing sense of mass and sets them apart from the common 1 1/2” thickness of most other countertops. This thickness also provides enough material for integral drain boards and integral cutting boards. All natural stone surfaces will stain if left untreated. Cast concrete is about as porous as marble and must be sealed, as naked concrete is vulnerable to acidic liquids such as wine, lemon juice and balsamic vinegar that can discolor the surface. We prefer to deliver and install the countertops ourselves in Western Canada to avoid warranty issues and assure complete client satisfaction. Travel and installation charges are quoted in our estimates. Otherwise, we will provide installation instructions, but highly recommend using a contractor who is familiar with solid surface countertops, as the installation procedure is not difficult, but delicate, much like solid surface. Clean up spills immediately. 2) Use a clean dry cloth for best results. 3)Clean stone surfaces with a neutral cleaner, such as mild liquid dishwashing detergent and warm water. 3)Too much cleaner or soap may leave a film and cause streaks. 4) Rinse the surface thoroughly after washing with the soap solution and wipe until dry with a soft cloth. 5) Re-seal Granite every at least once a year.
