You may want to consider changing your router to channel 1, 6, 11. Channel 6 is the most commonly used channel for 2.4 Ghz devices (including cordless phones, wireless keyboards and mice). In most cases you will get the maximum range on channel 1. Make sure that the router in question is positioned in the highest point available.
