Outdoor cameras or cameras indoors facing a window or an outside door will have varying light conditions. CCTV display and recording systems are set to a certain level of image brightness and contrast. When light levels change in the images produced by the cameras, the displayed and recorded images will either be too bright and washed out or too dark and non-resolvable. The only way to solve this is to use an auto-iris lens.

DC or DD (Direct Drive) is same as Auto Iris lens but there is no amplifier built-in the lens. Amplifier is in the camera and camera drives the lens iris again through the cable plugged into the camera. Plug is same as in A/I lenses.

The iris illustrates the whole person, including the whole body and the whole mind. Individual traits are identified at two levels, static and dynamic. A fresnel lens is necessary to evenly distribute light across the LCD and then focus it back onto the projection lens. Iris recognition biometric technology positively determines the identity of an individual by capturing a high resolution digital photograph of the individual's iris. The technology is based on the most mathematically unique biometric -- even between twins or an individual's right and left eyes -- the iris of the eye. The technology is non-intrusive - the individual does not need to touch anything to use the system.

These are rare tumors. They can be either primary tumors of the iris (e.g. malignant melanoma) or spread from another tumor (e.g. breast, lung).
