For example, is that there won't be as many hordes of rats, but you might instead see a few large rats or ratmen, or perhaps even something single, more powerful entity, like a lich lord. Skill and stat scrolls will be able to be used in Trammel or Felucca, and their effects will remain constant across all facets.

Not if you don’t want them to. It is the official policy of FrightTown that the actors may not touch the patrons, except to help them (guiding them to an emergency exit, for example). It is understandable and not uncommon for a casual brush or accidental bump to occur, but no one is going to grab you or anything like that.

For certain monsters, you use a certain taming item to tame them. For example, a poring would be tamed by using the Unripe Apple. Once you use the item a slot machine should come up you can either Fail or Succeed. Once you do it right you get an egg, which then you use an Egg Incubator to hatch it. After you have hatched it, right click and go to status. There you can name it, see if it is hungry, etc.

Quite frankly, the number of neutrals isn't that smaller then in HoMM 3 and 4 at their release. As for mixed neutral armies, it is possible. I for one, like the idea. In patches, for obvious reasons no. Alternative creatures ala HoMM 4 will not be added as we do not feel the design works out. Expansion Pack wise, too early to talk. As for model changes, I dunno. Yup. When I said we were making it more user friendly, we didn't mean that we were cutting down the features.

Try walking in the dark coloured grass, or take a walk within a cave. There are also hidden areas where you could find monsters at random. Or you could buy a fishing rod and try fishing for monsters in the waters.
