Yes in most cases unless you have a very good reason why you have to skip a day or arrive a day later or leave a day earlier (leaving earlier is particularly difficult as we are coming back from north-central Minnesota on the last day of the field camp).

Our own students at the University of Minnesota (UMN) also need 6 weeks of field camp to receive their Bachelor of Science degrees. We offer 2 to 3 field camps each year in the Department of Geology and Geophysics at UMN. Thus, our students take at least two of our three 3-week field camps before they graduate.

Yes, you may change the weeks that your child has registered for as long as you let us know at least 14 days in advance via email or in writing. In the case that you would like to change weeks within 14 days, there must be room for that particular week for the change to occur. Otherwise, you are canceling registration.

For such a short stay we cannot integrate you into the regular class program. However we do have special short-term programs of individualized learning that we can offer. This program involves learning each day (Sunday through Thursday) with different Rabbis from our educational staff. IF THERE IS ROOM, adding a SMALL number of campers to each week is not too much of a problem. BUT, if all 20+ units want to add Scouts or Leaders, then it is a problem. Ideal camp capacity is 500 per week. Right now we are running at 500 to 525 per week. For this reason, a waiting list has been created. As units pay their final fees Council might find that some units have dropped off one or two campers. If that happens, those on the waiting list are given the opportunity to add.
