Accurate colormatching can be problematic when attempted from a computer screen. Each and every monitor is different, and the process of illuminating pixels on a computer monitor is fundamentally different from light reflecting off a printed colored surface. Although we've designed our on-line catalog to provide a reasonably good representation of the colors we offer in the collection, we strongly recommend that you check your local miniatures shop and ask if they carry our products.

It is important to realize that all monitors display color differently. (It's the same principle as going to your local Best Buy/Circuit City/Fry's and viewing the same show on different tv screens - the color will not be exactly the same on any of the screens.) Thus, you should not expect the image to print as it looks on screen, but rather as it is defined by the color values. If you are concerned about image quality or color, we highly recommend ordering a single $2.

PMS colors are designed for paper ink to be placed on white stock and cannot be guaranteed to be exact on a textile, especially if it is not screen printed on white. However it is the best way to communicate color, and in most cases we achieve a perfect match.

We can usually match previously manufactured colors quite well. However, we recommend that if possible, a small piece be cut or chipped from the existing wall and sent to us. If that is not possible a new sample of the color should be visually compared to the existing wall and adjustment made to the color if necessary. Aggregates are a product of "Mother Nature" however and can vary over time. Always order a full size current sample to verify color.

For screen printed badges exact color matches are available. We are able to approximate colors on our full color badges (exact color matches not available). Engraved name badges are stock colors only.

We match the colors you see on the screen with the Pantone colors we have specified in a Pantone Chart Selector. We then send you the color codes for each color - e.g. Pantone 493U. Write down these codes and visit any Printshop. Ask them to show you a Pantone Chart Selector and you will be able to select your preferred colors or see our suggestions.

Some products are scaled up or down so that your layout preview will better fit your screen. For example, certain larger products, such as bumper stickers, are scaled down considerably so that you will not have to scroll to view your entire product. Certain smaller products, such as business cards, are scaled up slightly to make the small fonts on such products more readable. The size of images on your screen is dependent upon your computer platform and your monitor resolution settings.

The color seen on your monitor is usually about 95% accurate and a good representation of the true color of the rug. This can also be affected greatly by the quality of your particular monitor and its color calibration. We make every effort to present a picture that accurately represents the real colors of the rug.

Take a closer look at your logging habits to make sure you are accurately recording the foods you've eaten and exercises performed, and that you are not forgetting any entries. A person's body weight can fluctuate by several pounds or more during a single day. For best results, it's a good idea to consistently record scale weight when you get up in the morning - before you've added the extra weight of clothes, breakfast, etc.

Because of the movement and veining in natural stone, it is difficult to accurately represent stone with a small sample. Also, stone varies from shipment to shipment, so if you have a sample from a previous shipment, it may not match the current supply. It is advisable to view the actual slabs at the Marble Works showroom prior to fabrication.

We take extra care while taking and editing rug photos. For the very reason, we take photos with high-resolution cameras and use best graphics softwares on standard monitors available to edit them for you. We match each and every color as it is in the carpet. Please note that colors in carpet photos may vary in relation to your monitor's quality and settings. We recommend that you check the images on atleast two different monitors before making a purchase.
