Yes. We have found that intense pulsed light, or IPL, photo facial treatments work best for hyperpigmentation or sun damage on the face or other areas of the body. IPL light therapy helps lift the pigmentation to the surface of the skin so that it will slough off. Although IPL will never remove all the brown spots, it can substantially lighten them. Intense pulsed light will also give your skin a more even tone.

Solar Lentgo (brown spots) are non-raised, concentrated areas of excessively pigmented skin attributable to prior sun exposure and can occur in all skin types. In lighter skinned individuals laser or IPL treatment is quite effective. Dr. Krausser has achieved excellent results in lentigo removal by combining a response to a series of medical solution peels and daily use of hydroquinone-4%. In all instances, though, frequent daily application of a strong (SPF 45) sun block is advised.

The potato is the storage organ for nutrients manufactured by the potato plant. The reason some potatoes produce brown potato chips is due to the high sugar content in these potatoes. During growth, sugars are converted to starch. When a chipping potato is mature the sugar level of the potato is below 2%. After harvesting if the potato isn't stored or transported properly these starches can revert back to sugar.
