Programmable keypads are PC-compatible, programmable keyboards that work with a standard keyboard or as a standalone. Keyboard codes can be sent from the keypad and the regular keyboard at the same time. The keypad communicates with MacroBLASTER™ by sending a numeric code that identifies the key pressed. The key corresponds to the macro that the operator wishes to activate.

A physical keypad is activated by pressing a physical key. A virtual keypad has “virtual” keys that are activated by other input sources. Use MacroBLASTER™ with speech recognition or bar code to activate the virtual keys and the corresponding macros. As with the physical keypad, create up to 18 rows and 18 columns of virtual buttons.
