The Life Beyond Cancer Fitness Program was created for individuals of any age who are currently suffering from the effects of cancer surgery or the treatment itself. Classes are held on Monday and Wednesday afternoons at the Healthy Lifestyles Fitness Center and are free to residents of Cecil County. Repair and maintenance of your equipment is all part of our service! We are certified and authorized by many of the major manufacturers to repair and maintain your equipment. If you already have an existing fitness center, in a business, apartment building, hotel, your home or corporate gym at work, we can service and maintain all of that equipment for you as well.

U5 players must supply their own black shorts, black soccer socks, shin guards and SOCCER (not baseball) shoes. Age groups U6 and above - A full uniform is supplied, so you only need to supply your own shin guards and soccer shoes. If your child wears glassess, you must supply him/her with prescription sports goggles or Safety Goggles to wear over the glasses.

The fitness equipment is replaced every three or four years. We take great pride in having the newest and best equipment in San Diego. We usually return outdated equipment to the vendor for credit on replacement merchandise.

Memberships to the Student Recreation and Fitness Center (SR&FC) can be purchased by parents/spouses of Lewis University students as well as Alumni of the University. Individuals who are 55+ are eligible to participate in the Breakfast Club. This group can utilize the facility in the morning only, when students are typically busy in class. There are also a limited number of memberships (25) available to the external community.

You can purchase equipment from maple equipment dealers such as Waterloo/Small, Leader Evaporator, G.H. Grimm, or Dominion & Grimm. Contact your local Cooperative Extension office for help finding these companies or look them up on the Internet.

Most all sporting good stores carry soccer related gear. Your coach will advise you on the uniform and where to purchase it. Some athletic stores run specials on balls, shin guards, and shoes. Call around.

When you receive your voucher, you will also get a list of currently registered vendors and service providers. FOH can assist in the selection and purchase of appropriate AED devices, supplies and other AED-related equipment to meet the unique needs of your site. In addition to the actual AED device, accessories such as additional data cards, back-up batteries, additional defibrillation pads, carrying cases, and other supplies can be ordered conveniently and cost-effectively through FOH.

When an exercise regime consists of more than just jogging, people will at some point want to invest in proper equipment. The kind of equipment they buy depends on several factors like how much they can afford to spend, the quality of the equipment and what purpose will it serve as part of their exercise program.

Most equipment you need (bands, balls, mats, etc) is available within the MAC free of charge. Basketballs, volleyballs and wallyball equipment are available at the Service Desk by leaving your membership card. Tennis, squash and racquetball equipment are available for a nominal rental fee. The MAC welcomes guests at the club and wants to make sure that each guest experience is exceptional. Members can register their guest(s) and pay the guest fee at the Service Desk.

We use medicine balls, resistance bands, dumbbells, sandbags, jump ropes, kettle bells, truck tires, agility rings, cones, and more.  We learn to use whatever is around us, and so will you.

The remanufacturing process is a process in which a piece of commercial strength equipment or cardio equipment is "restored," like a '57 Chevy might be restored. "Remanufactured fitness equipment" is a phrase used to better and more extensively describe the thorough treatment these machine receive. More rudimentary processes, which yield a less impressive finished product, are typically known as "serviced or refurbished fitness equipment.
