Books won't help you with the most important aspect of the music. They can only help with the least important part - 5% : that is melody. But if you use books to teach you the music, they will kill your rhythm if left to their own devices. After you get the rhythm and can sustain it without allowing notes on the neck to interfere THEN AND ONLY THEN are you ready to use the books. Here, at this point, they can be a tremendous help to those who can use them while disciplining their rhythm hand.

The world changes on Internet time, so many texts seem outdated by the time they're printed. The best thing to do is read the trade press (Business 2.0, Wired, and the major business magazines) - it is always much more current than most business books. That said, one of my favorite books that combines business & technology is: Although some of the examples may be a bit outdated, the concepts in the book are sound and the principles outlined, enduring.

We always recommend Sugden's The Complete History of Jack the Ripper as the single best book yet written on the case. It is, however, quite sizeable, and someone looking for a "lighter" read might do well with either Rumbelow's The Complete Jack the Ripper or Paul Begg's Jack the Ripper: The Uncensored Facts. We highly recommend "Panic Attacks Workbook" by Dr. David Carbonell. This book is available on Amazon.com for about $12. This Workbook is designed to be used with a CBT therapist, but it can also be used for self-help. It was developed by Dr. David Barlow and Dr. Michelle Craske ? two of the world's leading experts in the field ? and is used by many therapists around the world. For each music video sold individually, you receive: iTunes pays the above Pay Rate in the local currency of the country where the sale occurred. For example, if a music video sells from the iTunes Japan store, iTunes Japan pays in Japanese yen (¥). The money is converted into U.S. dollars by the bank and forwarded on to you. Chagall Guevara had one music video for the song Violent Blue. The video was shot in the Volcano Room of Cumberland Caverns, a Tennessee state park and U.S. natural landmark. Of note in the video is a cameo by Fleming & John and, of course, Steve's powder blue suit. In an interview of the band in a 1991 issue of Cornerstone magazine, Steve indicated that they liked--or, at least, didn't hate--the video: we did a video. It was down in a cave about a hundred miles south of Tennessee.

Their first video was for "The Frug", made back before they even had a CD out or a record deal! The song was on the soundtrack to a movie called Desert Blue, and was chosen to be the emphasis track from the movie/album (though it wasn't properly released as a single). The video featured the band playing, with Jenny up front signing to the camera, mixed in with footage from the movie.
