The DVDs are formatted to play in DVD players formatted to Region 1, which covers North America. However, if you happen to own a multi-region DVD player, I cannot guarantee that they will play in multi-region DVD players. an update, I have had several orders shipped out to customers in Australia, Germany, Italy, Japan, New Zealand, and the United Kingdom, and all have reported no problems with playing the DVDs in their respective players. Each DVD will be produced in the format for the country in which it was filmed. As the first leg of the tour is in Europe, the first discs will be offered in PAL. North American concerts will be offered in NTSC. Keep in mind that these discs will not be "region coded"...and that computers with playback software installed for PAL and/or NTSC video will be able to view all concerts using the computer as a transport. All video tapes we are selling are in PAL format. This is a video format that is in use in Europe. These tapes will not work on most of the video devices in America or other countries that use NTSC, SECAM or some other format. All DVDs we are selling are also in PAL format. Usually there is someone in the School who knows how to do this and may be able to help you, perhaps using Adobe Acrobat. For PC users, download the free application PDFCreator from http://sourceforge.net/projects/pdfcreator/ and install it. Open your file in Word (or whatever other package you used) and select Print. AVIedit lets you convert avi movies to animated GIF files and FLI/FLC files in either direction. Also it is possible to save avi frames to bmp, jpeg and other still image formats. Other converters available on the web might let you convert AVI's into other formats such as MPEG, QuickTime and RealMedia.
