If you are unable to properly format your baby's digitized pictures so they "fit" on the web page, try consulting your image editing program's help file and search for "resize." Most programs will have step by step directions for you to follow. If you do not have an image editor that allows you to format your pictures correctly, please follow this link for a free image editing program to download and step-by-step instructions on how to properly format your pictures.

For two reasons...the first is that there are a significant number of computer users who have their monitor size set to 800 x 600 and if the site width is set too wide, the will have to scroll left AND right in addition to up and down. Second, when printing a site page, if the site is too wide, the right-hand portion to be chopped-off.

Once you have your images formatted correctly, simply log into our Member's Area and follow the link to the upload area. Then Select the picture number you would like to upload (the picture number indicates if it's the first, second, or third picture on the web page). Please follow the basic upload instructions above and do NOT click on the photo gallery link. Upload your three "main page" photos right there. To upload additional photos click on the photo gallery link.

You need to use a photo editing program. Such programs usually come with scanners and digital cameras. You can usually set the resolution to 72 ppi by checking under attributes or size. Try cropping off any extra picture around your puppy. There is a usually a crop tool that you can use which allows you select part of your picture and then remove everything from the outside of your selected box. If in doubt about the size of you picture, right click on it and then click on properties.

Images taken with your digital camera may often be too large or not well suited for display on your website. This is why you must resize and compress your images to properly display them on your website so your website's visitors can view the images faster and easier. The Archos Jukeboy Multimedia can resize pictures only in certain steps. Therefore it cannot always be guaranteed that a picture will exactly fit to screen. If you want to create an image that covers the whole screen then the following dimensions have to be used:

The screen can be resized to any resolution as long as the timing requirements of the VGA monitor are satisfied. Your Windows Display Properties need to be set at 800X600 or bigger - 1027X768 best, 16m color or better (256 color looks very bad in MBD), and make sure your fonts in 'Advanced' are set to 'small' - Normal size (96 DPI) . [TIP] -

You must have your screen size set to 800x600 or higher. In the control panel, double click on the Display icon. Go to the Settings tab and make sure the screen area is 800x600 or higher. Also, click the Advanced button and make sure the Font Size is set to Small Fonts. If you change this setting you will have to restart your machine.

Now you can! Microsoft's VB doesn't allow resizing Windows, but I use a third party resizing control that allows this. The size/position settings are saved on most screens. The grid maps have a font change feature. All the support applications that come with VHFLOG32 have the resize feature. VHFLOG32 v3.5 and higher have the re-size feature. Yes. this time, the BodyTrans Pictures screen will only allow you to compare two pictures side-by-side. I may expand on this screen in future versions to allow you to compare more than just two.

Text throughout the site (including navigation) is resizeable. Visually-impaired users, Netscape users or Mac users may find increasing the text size within their browser makes reading pages easier. To increase text size in Internet Explorer, click the View menu, then select Text Size and then choose larger or largest (the default is medium). If your baby does not respond clearly to the screen, the screening unit will show a 'refer' result.  If it is your baby's first screen, we will try again later the same day or the next day.  If you are due to go home, you can return at a later date for the re-screen. If your baby receives a refer result on the second screen as well, we will refer you for some further hearing testing.
